Evaluations

Each of our evaluations include a detailed report with clinical recommendations and a feedback session.

Autism Evaluations:
Our Autism Evaluations consists of a clinical interview, several questionnaires, and one on one assessments to identify a thorough picture of you or your child and determine if the diagnostic criteria (DSM-5TR) for an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is met. Areas of functioning assessed include, speech/language development and current ability, flexibility with change, sensory concerns, interpersonal skills, developmental milestones, intellectual abilities, daily living skills, executive functioning, presence of fixations, presence of repetitive or stereotyped behavior, and mental health. Our group of tests were selected to meet insurance requirements, including Tricare.

Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Evaluations:
Much like our Autism evaluations, our ADHD evaluations consists of a clinical interview, questionnaires, and additional testing to determine if diagnostic criteria for an ADHD diagnosis is met. We use a combination of assessments that assess inattentiveness, impulsivity, sustained attention and vigilance. We provide evaluations for children as young as 5-years-old through adulthood.

Educational Evaluations:
Our educational evaluations are a combination of an interview and a battery of assessments that can determine the presence of a learning disability, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and/or dysgraphia, as well as intellectual functioning. This evaluation will provide specific recommendations based on diagnosis to aid in assisting with accommodations and services to aid in a successful experience in the school and/or work environment. (*Please note that the majority of insurance companies will not cover testing for the sole purpose of determining a learning disability).

Psychological Evaluation:
Our psychological evaluations focus on identifying an overview of current mental health. We use a group of assessments that measure a variety of behaviors and symptoms, as well as, a personality assessment. These assessment are paired with a clinical interview. We provide psychological evaluations for ages 5 through adulthood.
