Health, Safety and Welfare

DSH is committed to following standards to protect our clients and staff. We have implemented the following policy and procedures to aid in a safe environment:

What DSH is committed to:

  • Providers will be wearing masks at all times.

  • Staff will be required to monitor and report their temperature before coming to work each day. Stick employees will be required to stay home. 

  • Our waiting room size has been increased. 

  • We have increased the frequency of sanitation in common areas and in provider's offices.

  • Furniture in the waiting room and providers' offices has been arrange to maximize social distancing. 

  • Provider's offices have markings on the floor indicated seating that is six feet or more from the provider's chair.

  • Payments by credit card is touchless.

  • When arriving clients will "sign in" verbally.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the waiting room and the provider offices.

  • Clients will be entering through the front door and leaving through the back door to decrease crossing in the hallway and minimize people in the waiting room at one time. 

What we are requesting clients to commit to:

  • Wearing face mask/coverings, which are required in our waiting room.

  • Do not come to your appointment sick.

    • We encourage you to take your temperature before your appointment and stay home if it 100.4 or higher.

    • If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 as outlined by the CDC please cancel your appointment. 

    • If you have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 reschedule your appointment.

    • You will not be charged a late cancellation fee if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19. 

  • Please do not arrive for your session more than 10 minutes before your appointment time. 

  • The waiting room will be limited to clients and client and his/her guardian.
